Azurite is a beautiful deep contrasting blue mineral specimen. The bright blue color is from the reactions between copper, hydrogen, carbonate, and oxygen. Azurite can be used to enhance creativity and inner wisdom because it cleanses and activates the third eye chakra.

Azurite is also known as Chessylite after the town Chessy-les-Mines where it was mined in France. In ancient times the color blue was considered to be sacred, so the more vivid or deeper blue in color something is, the more sacred it would be considered.

Measurements: This mineral specimen is 3 inches wide and is 2 inches tall.
