Goldstone is made by reducing copper oxide particles in glass during a process called annealing. The glass is created in a low-oxygen atmosphere and can be polished to a smooth finish or carved into beads, figurines, or other artifacts. Goldstone is so smooth and has a glittering effect that it makes it look completely natural. It is tough and durable. There will be variances in the Goldstone you receive as we purchase in very large quantities. We have no control over the amount of sparkle in the product each time you order or the depth of the color.
