Collection: Quartz Small Specimens

Small Quartz Crystals

This collection includes small quartz specimens. Quartz clusters, crystal points, tabletop-size decor quartz crystal clusters from Ron Coleman Mining and enhanced smoky quartz.

Quartz is a hard, white or colorless mineral consisting of silicon dioxide, found widely in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. Quartz is the state stone of Arkansas. It is available in a specific region of our state. Ron Coleman Mine is known for producing some of the clearest, most pristine quartz available in our state. Each specimen from our mine is hand-dug, cleaned with natural spring water, and soaked in a vat of oxalic acid for a week or more to remove manganese and iron from the outside surface of the specimen. It is then cleaned again with natural spring water from our property. Many people think our quartz is cut and polished because of the excellent points produced. However, we do not cut and polish our quartz.
