Carved Stone Decorative Bowl
Onyx is known and loved for its banding throughout the stone. This deep red Onyx, made into a bowl, is a beautiful example of its banding, with white and slate grey. This is a gorgeous Onyx mineral specimen.
Onyx has a parallel banding pattern. Onyx comes in a variety of colors, including Red Onyx, which is similar to and matches Agate. Onyx shares many of the same characteristics as Quartz does. The ancient Romans and Greeks are said to have commonly favored this gemstone, probably for its protective properties.

Cleaning Instructions: THIS IS NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. You can clean this by hand with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Then rinse and pat dry.
