This beautiful singing bowl was handmade in Nepal. It is made out of copper and has been hammered by hand on all sides. The very top of the bowl has three engraved lines etched all around it. A singing bowl is a type of musical instrument - an idiophone.
This singing bowl also comes with a cushion that it sits on. The hand tool (mallet) used to create the sound that makes it sing has also been hand-carved. At the end of the hand tool that you touch the bowl with, it is wrapped in black material.
Measurements: 3 inches in depth and 5 inches in diameter.
