This mineral was very first reported in 77 A.D. by Gaius Plinius Secundus & named after the Greek word “claw” because of its similar resemblance. The name got its use because of how bright is and the shape of the bands that shows when it is sliced. A variety of colors are commonly found throughout various countries of the world. These countries include: The United States, Argentina, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, Brazil, Madagascar & India.
Keep in mind there are 3 different variants to choose from such as: Black & white, cream, & strawberry.
