Beautiful light salt and pepper Herkimer Diamond necklace, 16 inches long with sterling silver S-hook. Stones are graduated from medium to extra-large size Herkimer's, smallest being 3mm and biggest being 19mm.
Herkimer Diamonds are beautiful double-terminated quartz crystals found in Herkimer, New York. Incredibly, these phenomenal gemstones are close to five hundred million years old. The crystals are magnificent works of nature, found in the rock, having a diamond-like geometrical shape.
Please note due to the size of the Herkimer stones, this necklace will fit more like a choker. Because this necklace has natural stones there will be a variance in size and the amount of manganese in each stone. If you're not familiar with the term "salt and pepper", it is used to describe a stone with areas of manganese that are visible.
