This unique specimen has a lot to offer! This is a free-standing Dolomite with Pyrite running throughout it, with a touch of copper. Dolomite is a Calcium Magnesium carbonate with a Mohs hardness of 3.5-4. This stone can grow in granular and/or massive habits.

Pyrite, also known as fool's gold. It is an iron sulfide type of mineral. It is slightly more durable than its counterpart; its Mohs hardness is 6-6.5. Its crystal patterns vary. They can be octahedral, cubic, or pyritohedral. Its name, Pyrite, comes from Greece and means fire. Pyrite received its name because hitting two pieces of pyrite together will create a spark.

Cleaning Instructions: You can gently clean this with a soft-bristled paintbrush.
