This is a beautiful enhanced black smokey quartz crystal cluster. Visualize this specimen on a white and black granite kitchen island or on a coffee or side table (place a silicon disc under the crystal to ensure it does not scratch the surface). Absolutely stunning and unique home décor display piece with black, gray and opaque tones. There are lovely small, clear, and opaque crystals that have formed outside the black areas.
Please note that the enhancements are made in the USA following safety protocols set forth. The process is gamma technology. The heat causes the aluminum within the mineral to achieve a beautiful black color. This process mimics the heat that causes white quartz to turn smokey in the earth. There is no radiation hazard associated with irradiated smoky quartz.
