You might be wondering if Aura Amethyst is natural.  Well, let me explain. You start with a base crystal, such as Amethyst or Quartz. Then, a process called vacuum deposition takes place.  In this process, a crystal is heated to over 800 degrees Celsius in a vacuum chamber. Then, platinum, silver, or titanium (precious metals) is pumped into the chamber. The precious metals then bond to the crystal.  That is where the iridescent glow comes from.
