Crystal Mine Tour

Kathy & Kevin Coleman In Front Of Military Vehicle Used For Tours

Attention:  Our Crystal Mine Tours Are Closed January 1, 2023 through March 4, 2023.  We offer a short tour of our Gallery Of Fine Minerals only.  CRYSTAL DIGGING REMAINS OPEN YEAR-ROUND

Take a behind the scenes tour of Arkansas' premiere quartz crystal mine, Ron Coleman Mining! No reservation is necessary.  However, you do want to sign up when you arrive at the mine.

View a short video about the history of Ron Coleman Mining, take a guided tour of our Gallery of museum quality mineral specimens (including larger quartz crystal specimens unearthed by Ron Coleman miners Josh and Andrew).  Remember as you are taking the tour, most specimens in the Gallery are available for purchase (we are happy to provide a shipping estimate or our staff can load your purchase in your vehicle).   Our tour guide is happy to provide pricing information on any specimen you are interested in purchasing. You will then ride in a military vehicle through the public digging area and down to the commercial mine where you will be shown crystal veins, the equipment used by our miners and, possibly, view our miners working a pocket.  At the end of the tour you will be taken through the cleaning and sorting area where you will see crystals recently removed from the commercial area in various stages of cleaning and sorting. Our crystals are sorted by size and quality.  The tour guide will show you specimens in the different qualities. If you own a store, have your sales tax information and want to sell our crystals; ask about purchasing wholesale.
