Smokey Quartz

Please note, all Smoky Quartz in this collection are enhanced.  They were mined as clear or opaque quartz at Ron Coleman Mining and treated/enhanced.  Enhanced smokey (smoky) quartz are quartz crystals that have been treated with gamma technology to change the natural color of the specimens from clear/white to black.  The 36-hour enhancement process burns the aluminum within the mineral but does not make the quartz radioactive.
