Collection: Quartz Small Specimens

This collection includes small jewelry-sized quartz crystal points, tabletop size decor quartz crystal clusters from Ron Coleman Mining and enhanced smoky quartz.

Quartz is a hard white or colorless mineral consisting of silicon dioxide, found widely in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks.  Quartz is the state stone of Arkansas.  It is available in a specific region of our state.  Ron Coleman Mine is known for producing some of the clearest, most pristine quartz available in our state.  Each specimen from our mine is hand dug, cleaned with natural spring water and soaked in a vat of oxalic acid for a week or more to remove manganese and iron from the outside surface of the specimen and then cleaned again with natural spring water from our property.  Many people think our quartz is cut and polished because of the excellent points produced.  However, we do not cut and polish our quartz.

If you do not find what you seek online, please email info@roncolemanmining.com to inquire.  Include the size and quality you seek.  We are happy to check inventory we have not yet placed online.   Please note:  We are at the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show each year selling our quartz.  We will be located at the Mineral & Fossil Co-Op, 1635 N Oracle Rd, during the show.  Our showroom hours are 9 am to 6 pm every day of the show.   We also sell our quartz annually at the Quartzsite Gem & Mineral Show, located at the Prospector's Panorama, located at 35 W Kuehn Street.
