What is healed quartz?

Healed quartz (or self-healed quartz) is a natural quartz crystal that broke or was fractured while in the earth, but continued to grow, sealing the fracture.  To find the healed area, look for a visible seam or scar within the specimen.  Yet, on the surface, it will be smooth to the touch.  

Sold in bulk - 1 pound minimum.  Unless otherwise specified in the "notes" area of your order, we will ship the largest specimen available.  Quantity selection is for "pounds," not pieces.
