This western sandstone wall art oil painting is of a big horn sheep in neutral tones of cream, white, tan, beige, gray, black and green.  Hang this original painting on a wall or place it on a mantle.  Sandstone is a stone of creativity.  Sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed of grains of sand, which are then cemented together by either quartz (silica), calcite, feldspar, or clay.  The artist states that she first carves the sandstone in a shape that will accommodate the scene she wishes to paint on the sandstone.  Please note: The sandstone is attached to a wood base, and the hardware is attached.
