Big Horn Sheep Painting On Sandstone

This western sandstone wall art oil painting is of a big horn sheep in neutral tones of cream, white, tan, beige, gray, black and green.  Hang this original painting on a wall or place it on a mantle.  Sandstone is a stone of creativity. Sandstone is basically sedimentary rock composed of grains of sand, which are then cemented together by either quartz (silica), calcite, feldspar or clay.  The artist states that she first carves the sandstone in a shape that will accommodate the scene she wishes to paint on the sandstone.  Please note: the sandstone is attached to a wood base with the hardware attached.
