This is a truly unique pink Opal rock specimen. It is made up of different shades of pink, white, and grays. On one side they left it natural, and the other side is polished.

Pink Opal is a type of Common Opal that is generally opaque and does not show the “fire” like that of Precious Opals. The color ranges from a bright baby girl pink to a pink-white, cream, or even lavender. Over the course of time Pink Opal has adopted the nickname “Peppermint candy stone”, due to its close resemblances to that of candies. The country of Peru is known to have the brightest and most impressive pink Opal specimens, but it can also be found in other South American countries, USA, and even Australia. It's very important to not expose your Opal to sunlight, as this stone has water within. This occurrence will cause your specimen to become very dry and brittle, and potentially break.

Measurements: This free-standing Pink Opal is 3 inches tall and is 2 inches in width.
