Small Green Onyx Crystal Pyramid Paper Weight

This small Green Onyx crystal pyramid is beautifully polished and its naturally and truly unique because of the colors, creams, green, browns, and beige, and also because of the banding. 

Green Onyx is mined in Brazil, India, California, and Uruguay. The stone’s color can vary widely depending on where it comes from. Green Onyx is a variety of the mineral Chalcedony. It is formed by layers of microscopic Quartz and Morganite and sometimes contains Dendrites (branch like formations made from Manganese Oxide). 

People who work with gemstones and crystals often classify this material as one of two types: Leek or onion.  Green Onyx that contains dendrites is known as “onion” Onyx. It’s this form that most people recognize as the stone of spiritual growth.
