Berns Quartz Ron Coleman Mining Smithsonian Natural Museum

The Berns Quartz was unearthed at Ron Coleman Mining in 2016.  It measures approximately 7 foot tall and weighs approximately 8,000 pounds.  This massive Arkansas quartz crystal cluster was unveiled at the Smithsonian's National Museum Of Natural History on Wednesday, October 27, 2022.  Owners, Kevin & Kathy Coleman were  photographed with the specimen during the setting of the exhibit.
