This carved purple mineral is Fluorite.  As with natural snowflakes, no two carved fluorite snowflakes are alike.  Because of the color of Fluorite, it may be used as a water element in Feng Shui. Because it grows within the earth, it may be used as an earth element.  In feng shui placement, one wants to include earth, water, fire, metal, and wood elements in every space so that the room has good energy.
