Agate Crystal Geode Butterfly Wings

Visualize this gorgeous pair of Agate crystal geodes shaped like butterfly wings in your living space.  The geodes have been cut in half and polished perfectly.  Hundreds of tiny drusy crystals are present in the center of each half.   A collector of butterflies would love this specimen. 

Agate comprises many varieties of chalcedony, which is part of the Quartz family.  It has a Mohs hardness of 7. The Egyptians found agate as far back as 3000 B.C., and its name is derived from a river in Sicily.

Approximate Measurements:  5.50 inches tall, 4.75 inches wide, and 2.50 inches deep.
