Chrysocolla is a sharply colored mineral/rock specimen. Its color can be among the brightest shades of blue and green, which is caused by its copper content. Chrysocolla is often coated by a drusy layer of glossy clear Quartz or intergrown with the Quartz. Use this stone for wire-wrapped jewelry, or a hobby or professional at lapidary work can cut this tone into cabochons and polish.  A tip when buying Chrysocolla in person is to bring a water spray bottle to bring out the color you will receive when polished.  The photos used have not been sprayed with water.
