Malachite belongs to a family of copper carbonate hydroxide minerals. Malachite is famous because it is one of the first minerals used by humankind to produce the widely known mineral called copper. Malachite is known for its many hues of green bands that result in its very unique appearance.

For many of years Malachite has been and is still commonly used as a gemstone. It is also a popular material for sculpting and etching. This gem is also globally revered as a favorite in creating bracelets, rings, necklaces, or even head dresses.

Measurements are approximately: 1.25 inches tall, 2 inches wide, & 3 inches long.
