Novaculite, also called Arkansas Stone, is a microcrystalline to cryptocrystalline rock type that consists of silica in the form of chert or flint. The name Novaculite is derived from the Latin word novacula.Please note: As the images show, this product is pieces of Novaculite with no pieces longer than 2.5 inches (when available). Most commonly used as a sharpening stone.
