Obsidian is mined in locations worldwide, such as the USA, Turkey, Scotland, Peru, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Mexico, Kenya, and Japan.  You can also find it in Iceland, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, and Australia.  These Obsidian arrowheads originated from Mexico.  Obsidian is an igneous rock that forms when molten rock material cools so rapidly that atoms cannot arrange themselves into a crystalline structure. It is an amorphous material known as a \"mineraloid.\" The result is a volcanic glass with a smooth uniform texture that breaks with a conchoidal fracture.         

Each arrowhead is handmade, so no two are alike. You might not get the one you see in the pictures, but one similar.
