This is a really pretty piece of Ocean Jasper that has been cut into the shape of a heart and Polished on both sides and the edges. This heart is cream, mauve, and light blue with speckles of brown and light gray blue. It gives the impression of the colors you expect to see in the ocean around the time that the sun would be setting.
Ocean Jasper, also known as Orbicular Jasper or Cellular Jasper, is a really rare type of Jasper, and is a member of the Quartz family. It's defined by circles of all different colors, such as green, brown, blue, yellow, grey, white, pink, or red.
