Purple Opal Slice Natural Stone

Purple Opal, also known as Morado Opal, is a variety of Opal that was recently discovered in central Mexico in 2011. This particular type of Opal crystallizes in the form of masses and nodules without the usual “fire” one thinks when seeing Opal. The purple within this mineral is actually caused by very small Fluorite and Silica inclusions.    

Whatever the reason may be to add this to your collection, it makes a beautiful addition to your rock collection, any space in your home, or even your office.                                          Display not included.
