Though we mine quartz at our Arkansas mine, there is still a place for other quartz specimens in our store.  Especially quartz points of this size.  This is a cut and polished point.  The name "Quartz" comes from the Greek for "Ice", and some of the ancients believed that Quartz crystal was water frozen so hard it could never thaw.  Persons born under water astrology signs are very drawn to quartz.
