This is a wonderful specimen to add to any mineral collection or can be used to make jewelry. It has been left in its raw and natural form on both sides. It has different hues of blue, green, yellow, and brown.
Azurite Malachite combines two well-known minerals, the rich and sparkly azurite, and the shades of green are Malachite. The name Azurite is derived from the Persian word lazhward, meaning blue. Malachite is from the Greek word molochitis, which means mallow plant. This stone’s name can also be shortened to Azurmalachite. It’s often carved into objects d’art and cut into cabochons.
