Blue Dumortierite Quartz is considered one of the rarest types of Quartz worldwide. It was named after a French paleontologist.  His name was Eugene Dumortier. Quartz aggregate and dumortierite are the minerals that cause this kind of Quartz to have its blue hue.

Measurements: This adjustable Sterling Silver chain adjusts to 20 inches and has a lobster claw clasp.  The Dumortierite Quartz pendant is 32mm long and 29mm wide.
