This Amethyst geode consists of three layers. The outer layer is made of smooth Basalt, the middle layer is made of Calcite, and the very middle hollow layer is made up of primarily Amethyst crystals. These are formed when a gas cavity (a Vesicle) forms in lava and becomes filled with minerals.
Amethyst has been said to help people still their minds and reach a spiritual connection through meditation. When one can maintain internal calm, it becomes easier to eliminate self-doubt and welcome peace and clarity into one's life.
Measurements are approximately 6 inches tall, 6.75 inches wide, and 5.25 inches deep.
Cleaning Instructions: Gently remove loose dust with a soft-bristled paintbrush. You can also use lukewarm water and mild soap. Then rinse and pat dry.
