Unique quartz crystal point with multiple small trigger crystals and a large point that grew along the side and peaks at the top of the host crystal. This rock specimen was mined at Ron Coleman Crystal Mine.
"Rock Crystal" is a nick name that clear Quartz has gotten over the years. It is considered to be the most common stone that comes to mind when you hear the word "crystal". Its name came from the ancient Greeks, meaning "ice". Quartz is definitely the most versatile minerals of all the minerals.
