Chrysocolla is a sharply colored mineral/rock specimen. Its color can be among the brightest shade of blue and green, and is caused by its copper content. Chrysocolla is often coated by a druzy layer of glossy clear Quartz, or inter grown together with the Quartz. Use this stone for wire wrapped jewelry or a lapidarist can cut into cabochons and polish. A tip when buying Chrysocolla in person, bring a water spray bottle to bring out the color you will receive when polished.
