Polished Purple Labradorite rock specimen.   Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar with a triclinic crystal structure and hardness of 6 to 6.5.  It is treasured for its remarkable play of color, which shows vivid flashes of green, blue, gold, orange, red and violet.  It is mostly found in Canada and Madagascar.
