This is a beautiful Ron Coleman mined quartz crystal cluster that has been enhanced to a smoky black color. As the images show, there are several points on this quartz crystal.
How is this quartz cluster enhanced to bring out the dark color? Ionizing radiation burns the aluminum resulting in the beautiful black color. It’s the same technology used to sterilize medical tools and equipment. Note the beautiful white sleet/fairy dust sprinkled throughout this beautiful smokey quartz specimen.
