Carved Lapis Lazuli Wolf Figurine

This is a gorgeous Lapis Lazuli carved wolf head figurine.  The wolf symbolizes family, loyalty, and wisdom.  He is the natural colors of Lapis Lazuli, which is gray-blue and a deep, bright blue as well.

 Lapis Lazuli means, or stands for, "blue stone". The name comes from the Latin word ‘lapis’, meaning ‘stone’, and the Persian word meaning ‘blue. ’The shades of blue in this crystal’s structure are rich and deep in color, and it has gold flecks running through it, giving it a magical, mysterious charm.

 Ancient Egyptians used it in cosmetics for thousands of years. It was even said that Michelangelo used Lapis Lazuli in powder form for blue pigments to color the frescoes in his Sistine Chapel.

Cleaning Instructions: You can hand wash this in lukewarm water and a mild soap. Then rinse and pat dry.
