This is a stunning Celestite geode specimen with large, dreamy, sky-blue crystal points throughout.  The natural exterior of the geode is in a raw, natural state that is not polished.

Celestine or celestite is a mineral consisting of strontium sulfate. The mineral is named for its occasional delicate blue color. Celestine and the carbonate mineral Strontianite are the principal sources of the element strontium, commonly used in fireworks and in various metal alloys.

Celestite comes from the Greek word heavenly.   Metaphysical belief is that it is considered to be the stone sleep.

Approximate measurements: 12 inches long x 6.5 inches wide by 4.5 inches deep

Origin: Madagascar

Care and Cleaning - Use a soft bristle paint brush to remove dust.  A damp cloth may be used to clean the crystals.  If you wish to remove another person's energy from this geode, place it under moonlight overnight.

Shipping:  We highly recommend the Route Package Protection offered at checkout is purchased because UPS no longer insures rocks or minerals.  Ron Coleman Mining does not assume responsibility for damage to the package or Celestite due to carrier handling.
