Bezel setting refers to a solid sheet of metal that is formed around the entire circumference of the gemstone.  This particular Lapis gemstone also has a beautiful pattern of calcite matrix that runs throughout the stone, giving it the appearance of a stone layers as seen in the southwest United States.

The approximate measurements: 1.5 inches long. With the bail - 1.85 inches. The solid sterling silver bail is large enough to accommodate a 4 mm Omega chain.
