This was found as a complete geode.  It was split to reveal the beautiful crystal formations inside the specimen.  The white areas are naturally forming calcite.  Note: the exterior of the geode has been stabilized (a standard method miners use to protect the quartz crystal formations).  

Cleaning Instructions: Clean this with a damp cloth or a soft-bristled paintbrush.
