How to clean and care for an Amethyst geode: Use a soft bristle paint brush to clean the dust off of the specimen. Direct sunlight will cause the deep natural color of the crystals to fade. Remember, this was unearthed as an unopened geode. It was not exposed to direct sunlight while forming.
