Bumble Bee Jasper is a vibrantly orange, yellow, and black material that is actually formed from a mixture of Indonesian volcano lava and sediment. It is a carbonate rich rock that was first discovered on the island called Java during the 1990's.
Bumble Bee Jasper is a soft stone, with a Mohs of 5 and below. This porous rock is easy to cut and polish. This stone is a combination of volcanic matter, Anhydrite, Hematite, Sulfur, and Arsenic.
The lovely patterns on this stone are very similiar to what you will find on a Bumble Bee insect, hence the name. The yellow color in this stone is due to Sulfur, which is toxic, as well as arsenic so please wash your hands after handling.
Measurements: This Bumble Bee Jasper tower is 3.5 inches in height and is 1 inch in width.
NOTE: The tower you see in the picture might not be the one you recieve, but will be similiar.
