This is a beautifully hand carved Sodalite turtle figurine. The color pattern in this turtle is light blue, greys, dark blue, and some pink. It is artistically carved and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.
This stone was first discovered in 1811 by Europeans. A light, yet relatively hard and fragile mineral, Sodalite is named after its sodium content. Well known for its blue color, sodalite may also be grey, yellow, green, or even pink and is often mottled with white veins or patches.
