You will appreciate having this original painted sandstone art in your home or office.  It features a bear and cub with a soaring eagle in a winter, snow-covered scene, painted on sandstone with a polished wood back, allowing for display on a wall, mantel, or table: masculine interior design elements, cabin decor, lodge, rustic home decor accessories. 

The neutral color palette includes cream, white, tan, brown, gray, black, and green.  The artist used finely ground minerals and stone powder with gum arabic to create the colors used in this painting.

If you are unfamiliar with this artist's sandstone art, she selected a sandstone slab, adhered it to a wooden backing, and used crushed stone and minerals as pigments, along with gum arabic, to create the scene that inspired her.
