Did you know slag glass and glass cullet are not the same product? 

Although both are made from recycled glass, and the terms are often used interchangeably by individuals seeking recycled glass, the processes differ. 

You are viewing glass cullet; the term refers to waste glass produced due to breakage and quality control issues during manufacturing.  This recycled glass is available in jewelry-making sizes, fist sizes, and in the colors green, blue, amber, and clear.  Images do not show all sizes.  Cullet glass (aka slag glass) does not have a polished surface; it may include surface signs of swirls, sweeping curved lines, etched or parallel lines, chipping at the edges, scuffing, nicks, and may have sharp edges.  Reminder: Most of what we carry is jewelry-making sizes, ranging from 0 to fist size (we do not have slag glass under 2 inches). AVAILABLE COLORS:  Blues, Greens, Amber, and Clear.  If you need larger chunks, please use the chat feature to confirm availability or view the listings marked with dark green and blue/green text, which start at 8 pounds each. 

Can You Tumble Slag Glass?

We are often asked if glass cullet (aka slag glass) can be tumbled. We have buyers who tumble slag glass for jewelry making, hanging art, and Koi Pond accents.  Slag glass makes a lovely tablescape for your home or patio.  Cullet/Slag glass is excellent for cutting, tumbling, and making jewelry.

Cleaning Instructions: You can clean this with lukewarm water and mild soap.  Then rinse and pat dry or allow to air dry.
