Small Dolomite With Pyrite Specimen

This unique specimen has a Dolomite base with Pyrite, also known as fool's gold, scattered all throughout it.  Dolomite can be mistaken for limestone or even marble.  It is a type of sedimentary rock that is very durable and affordable.

Pyrite Composition:

The mineral Pyrite is an iron sulfide mineral. It is the most common and abundant sulfide mineral in the world. It is a brassy gold or yellow mineral with a shiny metallic luster. 

This beautiful mineral specimen would make an excellent paper weight at the office or at home.

Cleaning Instructions: Gently clean this with a soft, bristled paintbrush.
