This is a gorgeous mineral specimen.  You can see all the layers that make up this crystal.  This Hematoid Rose Quartz heart is also known as Fire Hematoid Quartz.  It is burgundy, a deep red, and transparent.

 Hematoid Quartz is also known as Fire Quartz, specularite quartz, and ferruginous quartz. The red inside the type of quartz is Iron Oxide.  Red Hematoid Quartz can be found in the United States, Brazil, Madagascar, and China.  It is also said that its metaphysical properties can help balance emotions and calm anxiety.

 Approximate Measurements: 2.5 inches long and 2.75 inches wide.

Cleaning Instructions: You can clean this gently with lukewarm water and a mild soap.  Then rinse and pat dry.
