This is a beautiful Lapis Lazuli mineral specimen. It is polished and cut into a tower point, and is covered with many different hues of blue, from navy grey blue, to light sky blue.
Lapis is a metamorphic rock that has always been extremely liked due to its many different rich hues of blue. Back as early as the 7th. millennium B.C. it was being mined in the Sari-Sang mines in shortugai and in Afghanistan. This crystal was also used in the funeral mask for Tutankhamun somewhere between 1341-1323 B.C.
Measurements: This Lapis Lazuli tower point stands 4 inches tall and is 1.5 inches wide.
